
Battle Creek Grad Chet Joslyn Signs with Bombers

Battle Creek, Mich. - The Battle Creek Bombers are proud to announce the signing of Battle Creek-native Chet Joslyn (Valparaiso), a left-handed pitcher who played at Lakeview High School.
Joslyn, a 6-1, 180-pound lefty, just completed his first collegiate season with the Crusaders. In 11 appearances, he pitched 13 2-3 innings, struck out seven, and posted a 2.63 ERA - second best on the Valparaiso pitching staff. He ended his freshman campaign with 5 1-3 scoreless innings over four appearances, including two key shutout frames against Chicago State in a 2-1 Crusaders victory.
At Lakeview, Joslyn was a three-time All-Southwest Michigan Athletic Conference selection and a two-time All-District honoree. He also played two years of hockey and was named All-Conference in both of his seasons on the ice.
