Kingfish and Safe Harbor Humane Society Announce Successful Dog Adoptions

July 14, 2015 - Northwoods League (Northwoods)
Kenosha Kingfish News Release

The Kenosha Kingfish are excited to announce that for the second consecutive year all dogs from the IRIS USA Walk in the Park Day were adopted from the Safe Harbor Human Society in Kenosha. The Kingfish and the Safe Harbor Humane Society teamed up to have three owner-less dogs be introduced on the field on June 28th to look for potential families in the crowd.

Thanks to the generosity of a few families, all three dogs found new homes. Oso, a one-year-old male American Pitbull Terrier, Charles, a one and a half year old male Pomeranian/Australian Sheppard mix, and Juniper, a six-year-old female Rottweiler, were all introduced on the field and found new homes within two weeks.

The Kingfish are proud to partner with the Harbor Human Society and IRIS USA each year to help man's best friend find loving and caring homes. The Kingfish look forward to another successful adoption next year.
