Amarillo, TX 12/18/09 - The Amarillo Gorillas have activated forward Anthony Battaglia from the 14-day injured reserve and will play tonight versus the Tulsa Oilers.
Battaglia has not skated since November 22nd after suffering a lower body injury. The Gorillas will not have defenseman Shaun Arvai, who was placed on the 14-day injured reserve this past Sunday.
The game broadcast will begin at 7:25pm CST and can be heard on 1440 AM ESPN Radio & seen on CHL-TV. Fans will have a chance to win an autographed photo of Jake Morissette during the second period.
The Gorillas will be back on home ice Saturday, December 19th at 7pm versus the Laredo Bucks. Make sure to bring your cameras, as Santa Claus will make an appearance on the Amarillo Civic Center concourse during the game. Come early (doors open at 6pm) and enjoy the festivities. Call 806.242.PUCK.
Fans who donate a toy at the December 19th home game will have the opportunity to purchase a $10 game ticket valid for the same game night. Present your toy at the Amarillo Civic Center box office or the Gorillas office on the day of the game.
