Bats Finally Break out, Lead Chihuahuas to First Win

The El Paso Chihuahuas scored 10 late runs to beat the Las Vegas Aviators 10-6 Sunday for their first win of the 2019 season. Sunday's game was a scoreless tie entering the sixth inning.

Alex Dickerson hit a go-ahead home run in the bottom of the seventh, his second homer in as many days. Josh Naylor hit a long home run to center field in the eighth, his first career Triple-A homer. El Paso has seven home runs in the first four games of the season.

Esteban Quiroz reached base five times Sunday, going 3-for-3 with two walks. Quiroz has a .588 on-base percentage through the season's first four games. Chihuahuas' batters were hit by four pitches Sunday, one shy of a Pacific Coast League single-game record.
