Bankier and Stankoven Selected to Canada's National Junior Team Camp

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers are sending 19-year-old forwards Logan Stankoven and Caedan Bankier to Hockey Canada's National Junior Team selection camp December 9-12 in Moncton, NB. Stankoven and Bankier are among 29 players named to the camp.

Stankoven won a Gold Medal with Team Canada at the 2022 World Junior Tournament that was played in August. He also previously won a Gold Medal at the 2021 Under-18 World Championships.

The Kamloops native leads the Blazers in scoring with 16 goals, 26 assists and 42 points in 19 games this season.

Bankier has had a stellar season as he leads the Blazers in goals with 18 in 22 games. The Cloverdale, BC product is second in team scoring with 30 points this season.

Stankoven and Bankier will be available for games December 6th and 7th in Victoria and depart on December 8th for the camp.
