Lambos Named to Canada's National Junior Team Selection Camp

The Winnipeg ICE congratulate defenseman Carson Lambos on being named to the roster for Canada's National Junior Team selection camp.

Lambos, from Winnipeg, Manitoba, has 21 points (three goals and 18 assists), is +23 and has 25 penalty minutes in 23 games with the ICE in his fourth WHL season. His +23 rating leads all WHL defencemen.

Lambos represented Canada last year at the World Junior Hockey Championship and also at the 2019-2020 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.

The ICE selected Lambos in the 1st round, 2nd overall in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft.

The Minnesota Wild selected Lambos in the 1st round, 26th overall in the 2021 NHL Draft.

The 2023 IIHF World Junior Championship takes place December 26th to January 5th in Moncton and Halifax.

Next action for the ICE is Friday, December 9th, 7pm at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena versus the Spokane Chiefs on Teddy Bear Toss Night presented by Manitoba Building Trades. Fans are encouraged to bring a new pre-packaged bear to throw on the ice when the ICE score their first goal of the game. All stuffed bears and funds raised will be donated to the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba. CLICK Here for Tickets.
