LAKEWOOD, NJ - Four BlueClaws had two hits and Dylan Cozens and Mitch Walding each drove in two runs as the BlueClaws topped Greenville 8-3 on Thursday night at FirstEnergy Park.

Cozens, Zach Green, Carlos Tocci, and Andrew Pullin all put up two hits for Lakewood, who had 11 in their win. The victory snapped a three-game losing streak and put them at 11-21 in the second half, 39-63 overall on the season.

Leading 2-1 in the 6th inning, Walding hit a two-run single to left to put Lakewood up 4-1 and give them the breathing room they would need. Lakewood added a run in the 6th and scored three times in the 7th, two on a triple by Dylan Cozens.

Jon Prosinski (4-3) gave up one unearned run over six innings to earn his 4th win of the season. Greenville (8-26/42-61) starter Myles Smith (3-7) gave up five runs in 5.1 innings and took the loss.

With his two hits, Cozens is now hitting .350 in July with 4 home runs and 12 RBIs. Zach Green's RBI gives him a team-leading 14 this month in the team's 20 games.

The BlueClaws and Drive have now split the first two games of their three-game series, which finishes on Friday night. RHP Yacksel Rios throws for Lakewood and LHP Trey Ball goes for Greenville in the series finale at 7:05.
