Before an out was ever recorded on Friday night at Suplizio Field, the Missoula Osprey scored three against the Grand Junction Rockies. They scored the game's first eight runs and beat the Rockies 10-4.

The first five Osprey hitters reached base. Isan Diaz walked to start the night, and he was moved to second when Marcus Wilson singled. Luke Lowery followed that with a single, but an error allowed Diaz to score. Austin Byler doubled in a pair to make it 3-0. After Jason Morozowski was hit by a pitch, Raymel Flores grounded out for the game's first out, but Tyler Humprheys singled in a pair to cap the inning.

Missoula added three more in the second. Wilson scored on Lowery's single, then Austin Byler hit a 2-run homer. After the Rockies got on the board with a run in the bottom of the inning, the teams traded a pair in the third

Javier Medina allowed 10 runs 2.1 innings, taking the loss for the Rockies. He had allowed just two runs in his first three starts as a professional. Alec Crawford, Juan Pena, Lorenz Ozuna, and Sam Thoele followed him and didn't allow a run the rest of the night.

Brendan Rodgers, Tyler Nevin, and Anthony Brito had two hits for the Rockies who fall for the fifth straight game, and are now 22-24 on the season. This story was not subject to the approval of the National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues or its clubs.
