B-Sens sign forward Matt McIlvane to ATO

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators signed today forward Matt McIlvane to an amateur tryout contract (ATO).

McIlvane, 22, come to the Binghamton Senators after completing his collegiate career at Ohio State University (CCHA) with 16 points (5+11=16) in 41 games as a senior for the Buckeyes.

In 156 games at Ohio State, McIlvane collected 15 goals, 37 assists and 117 penalty minutes.

The Downers Grove, Illinois native was Ottawa's eighth round pick, 251st overall, in the 2004 NHL entry draft.

The B-Sens welcome the Rochester Americans to the Arena tonight for a 7:05 contest.
