LAST GAME: Hansel Robles tossed five shutout innings and the Binghamton Mets cashed in on 10 walks in a 6-0 victory over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats on Sunday afternoon at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. The win, Binghamton's sixth in seven games, secured their second winning series of the year. Robles worked out of a pair of bases-loaded jams and struck out six while allowing four hits en route to his first career Double-A victory. Fisher Cats starter Aaron Sanchez handed out four walks, hit three batters, and survived just 3.2 innings in his first loss of the season. The B-Mets bullpen combined for four innings of shutout relief, allowing just one runner to reach base.

BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Greg Peavey makes his second start of the season and first against the Portland Sea Dogs. Peavey made his season debut last Tuesday against the Erie SeaWolves and allowed two runs on four hits over four innings in the no-decision. The right-hander started last season in the Las Vegas (AAA) bullpen. He returned to Binghamton in mid-July and made six Eastern League appearances. Drafted in the 6th round in 2010 out of Oregon State University, he went 6-5 and compiled a 4.80 ERA between two levels.

PORTLAND STARTER: RHP Henry Owens makes his third start of the season. Named the Eastern League Pitcher of the Week today, the southpaw has yet to allow a run in 12.2 innings in his two starts. The Huntington Beach, CA native threw a rain-shortened six-inning no-hitter in his 2014 debut, blanking the Reading Fightin Phils on opening night. He backed up that performance with a nine-strikeout game against the Trenton Thunder last Wednesday. Owens was selected as the 36th overall pick in the 2011 draft out of Edison HS (CA). He split last season between Salem (High-A) and Portland, going 11-6 with a 2.67 ERA in 26 starts between both levels.

OFFENSE KEEPS ROLLING: The B-Mets have won six of their last seven contests, and have collected eight hits or more in each game during the stretch. They are hitting .291 (69-for-237) in their last seven games, including 18 doubles, one triple and seven home runs.

KEEPING THE STREAK ALIVE: B-Mets outfielder Darrell Ceciliani has hit safely in his first seven games of the season, compiling a .367 (11-for-30) batting average. Ceciliani put together a 17-game hitting streak last year, the third-longest in the Eastern League.

BULLPEN CAN BOAST: Three B-Mets relievers combined to toss four shutout innings on Sunday against the Fisher Cats. It was the most shutout innings from the B-Mets pen since they posted five against Erie on April 7.

PRODUCTION FROM THE NINE SPOT: B-Mets middle infielder Wilfredo Tovar has spent every game in the ninth position in the lineup. That hasn't stopped him from hitting .370 (10-for-27) with seven RBI.

SCOUTING THE SEA DOGS: The Portland Sea Dogs continue their first homestand of the season after taking three of four from the New Britain Rock Cats. Portland outscored the Double-A Twins 30-16 en route to their first series win of the year. The team has compiled a .294 batting average, the second-highest in the league.

PORTLAND LAST YEAR: The Sea Dogs went 68-73 last season and finished fourth in the Eastern Division, 18.0 games behind the B-Mets.

LAST YEAR AGAINST PORTLAND: The B-Mets went 13-7 against the Sea Dogs last year, including a 5-3 mark at Hadlock Field. Binghamton posted a .267 team batting average against the Double-A Red Sox and compiled a 3.49 staff ERA.
