LOVES PARK, Ill. - The Rockford Aviators (3-15), presented by Pearson, surrendered eight runs on eight hits in the first inning to the Windy City ThunderBolts (6-15) in a 15-6 loss on Saturday night. Rockford starting pitcher Nick Anderson didn't get out of the first inning and suffered his second loss of the season.

The Aviators had two strong offensive innings in the fifth and eighth, scoring three runs in each frame. Five different players came up with RBI hits on the night. Ray Delvalle led the way offensively with a pair of doubles. Jereme Milons also had a multi-hit game for the Aviators.

Windy City's Mike Recchia didn't quite have his usual arsenal, walking five hitters and allowing three runs through his five innings of work. The fireballer punched out seven Aviators' hitters.

The Aviators and ThunderBolts square off in the rubber match of the series on Sunday night at 5:05 p.m. It is YMCA Family Day at the ballpark; all Rockford Health System Kids Club members get free admission to every Sunday home game. There will be pre-game catch on the field between 4:00 and 4:30, sponsored by Q98.5.
