Otters Look to Complete Homestand with Sixth Straight Win

LOOK BACK AT LAST GAMES: The Evansville Otters kept their perfect home- stand alive with an 8-3 victory over the Florence Freedom on Saturday night. Evansville went ahead 5-0 af- ter a third inning RBI single from Steve Marino, a double play that scored a run in the fifth and three ad- ditional runs in the sixth inning. Catcher John Nester hit a solo home run and first baseman Andrew Clark followed with a two-run double lat- er in the inning. Down 5-0, Flor- ence rallied back for three runs in the top of the seventh only to see Evansville score three runs in the bottom of the inning on a bases-clearing triple from outfielder C.J. Henry.

REMARKABLE RYAN: Pitcher Ryan Zamorsky improved to 3-0 with the victory last night. After back to back complete game shutouts, Zamorsky was able to pitch 5.0 in- nings, yielding just one hit and two walks. His ERA is a Frontier League best 0.00 .

WHAT'S AT STAKE? The Evansville Otters are looking for their their 10th straight win at Bosse Field and their sixth consecutive victory. Evansville's last six game homestand sweep was in 2012 (July 31-Aug. 5) against Joliet and Normal.
