Austin FC Trades Jared Stroud to St. Louis City Sc

Austin, TEXAS - Austin FC announced today the Club has reached a trade agreement with St. Louis CITY SC, who will begin play in MLS in the 2023 season as an expansion club. Austin receives $100,000 in 2023 General Allocation Money (GAM) from St. Louis in exchange for midfielder Jared Stroud.
"We'd like to thank Jared for his contributions to the Club during its first two seasons, and we wish him all the best in the next stage of his career," said Austin FC Sporting Director Claudio Reyna.
Stroud, 26, spent the 2021 and 2022 seasons with Austin FC, making 27 appearances (13 starts). Stroud recorded one (1) goal and four (4) assists during his time with the Verde & Black.
