August Kicks off with Pyro Palooza, T-Shirts & Car Giveaways

Hoover, AL - The Birmingham Barons return to Regions Park and begin the final month of the season with a five-game homestand against the Jackson Generals, Double-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, from Friday, August 5th through Tuesday, August 9th.

The homestand begins on Friday, August 5, with a Barons Adult T-Shirt giveaway to the first 1,000 adults. Following Friday night's game, Taco Bell will be handing out free tacos for fans to snack on as they head home.

Saturday night is Military Appreciation Night and following the Barons and Generals game will be the largest fireworks extravaganza of the season with Pyro Palooza IV. Active military or veterans can purchase tickets for a discount.

Fans can enjoy Dreamland BBQ ribs while Kids Eat Free (specific menu) with purchase of a full-price ticket on Sunday, August 7.

Tuesday night is $1 Menu Days where fans can bring a KRAFT product wrapper to the box office and receive tickets for buy one and get one free, and select concession items will be sold at $1 and $2. The first 1,000 fans entering the gates will receive a free Barons pennant, and one lucky fan (19-years and older, no purchase necessary) will drive home in a Mercury Cougar donated by Crown Nissan that will be given away after the game.

Sunday, August 7 5:00 p.m. Jackson Generals Kids Eat Free with purchase of a full price ticket presented by Dreamland BBQ, Charter Communications and 93.7 WDJC

Monday, August 8 7:05 p.m. Jackson Generals Monday Night Baseball presented by 106.9 The Eagle and CW 21

Tuesday, August 9 7:05 p.m. Jackson Generals Used Car Giveaway to fans 19-years and older (no purchase necessary), Barons Pennant Giveaway to the first 1,000 fans, $1 Menu Days and KRAFT Singles Tuesday Night Tickets presented by 97.3 The Buck, CBS 42, Crown Nissan, KRAFT and Little Debbie
