On August 21, 1959, Hawaii became our 50th state.
Celebrate the 56th anniversary of her admission to the Union on Hawaii Night, presented by Radiology Associates, on Friday, August 21. The Hooks play host to Northwest Arkansas at 7:05 and ballpark gates open at 5:30.
"We're looking forward to another great Radiology Associates theme night," Hooks director of ballpark entertainment JD Davis said. "There are a lot of special touches for Hawaii Night."
They include:
-The first 1,000 fans receive Silk Flower Leis
-Get $2 off your ticket at the box office by wearing a Hawaiian shirt
-The Pacific Islander Polynesian Dance Group performs pregame and during the seventh-inning stretch
-You can enjoy a grilled pineapple hot dog at the Section 118 concession stand
-Special in-game giveaways
-Friday Fireworks postgame, presented by Bud Light... to Hawaiian and beach-themed music
-Sign up at Guest Services to compete in the Texas Lottery Lucky Scratch-Off Dance Off Hula Contest
