Sellers, 24, is an acclaimed up-and-coming singer, songwriter, and performer, whose debut album, New City Blues, was released on January 29 through Carnival Music. She made her Grand Ole Opry debut that same month.

Rolling Stone Magazine touted her last November as one of 10 New Country Artists You Need to Know. Stephen L. Betts wrote, "With nary an acoustic guitar to be heard on her gritty and glorious debut LP, New City Blues, Sellers can definitely rock you out of your mind, while her sweeter side can melt even the hardest soul down to nothing." Says Kristin M. Hall of the AP: "New City Blues introduces her as a musician that seamlessly links the indie rock enclave of East Nashville to her country roots in Texas. It's a sound she's branded "garage country," a blend of fuzzed-out electric guitars, high-energy rock 'n' roll and Sellers' country vocals and songwriting."

Sellers, the daughter of Jason Sellers and Lee Ann Womack, has a diverse list of influences: The Kinks, Screaming Jay Hawkins, Buddy and Julie Miller, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Ricky Skaggs, Patty Griffin, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, and Ralph Stanley.
