Northwest Arkansas Naturals News Release
SPRINGDALE, Ark. - The Northwest Arkansas Naturals are excited to announce that the Kansas City Royals 2015 World Series Championship Trophy will be on display at Arvest Ballpark on Friday, May 6 during our 7:15 p.m. game against the Springfield Cardinals. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. on Friday night for our Faith and Family Night Pre-Game Concert by WE ARE MESSENGERS with Post-Game Fireworks Spectacular presented by Sam's Furniture and media partner KLRC.
The World Series Trophy is scheduled to be on display behind a stanchioned area outside of the Sam's Club Community Room from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. during Friday night's event. There will be no personal photos allowed with the trophy due to the amount of fans in attendance; however, fans are welcome to stop by the trophy display area throughout the game to get a look at the World Series Trophy and take photos from beyond the stanchions. Curt Nelson, the Director of the Royals Hall of Fame, will accompany the trophy to Arvest Ballpark and will be positioned with it throughout the night.
Friday, May 6 marks the second time that the Kansas City Royals 2015 World Series Championship Trophy has been to Arvest Ballpark. The last time was on Monday, January 18 where the Naturals held a FREE viewing event for the general public.
Individual tickets are currently available for Faith and Family Night on Friday, May 6 and they can be purchased at the Arvest Ballpark Box Office throughout the week. Tickets can also be purchased at Guest Services during Naturals' home games, online at www.nwanaturals.com/tickets or by calling our toll free hotline at (877) 444-2637.
