MIDLAND - The Missions rallied from a five-run deficit Monday night but fell just short at Security Bank Ballpark, as they wrapped up a 1-7 roadtrip.
San Antonio was charged with a season-high three errors that led to three unearned runs. They also had a runner picked off first and another thrown out at second base trying to stretch a fielding error to two bases. Both baserunning gaffes occurred in the eighth inning. They proved to be costly because Nick Torres followed the out at second base with a double.

Gabriel Quintana finished with three hits, two doubles, and drove in three. Ryan Miller also collected three hits and drove in a pair. San Antonio finished with a season-high 15 hits.
Five of the seven losses on the trip were by one run. The Missions are 2-10 in games decided by one or two runs.
