
Attack Scout Joins Ottawa 67's

The Owen Sound Attack is proud to announce that Ottawa area scout Chris Byrne has been hired as an Assistant Coach with the Ottawa 67's.
He has been a scout for the Owen Sound Attack for the last 2 seasons recruiting such notable players as Wayne Simmonds who recently signed with the team for the 2006-2007 season.
Chris joins the 67's after his position as Head Coach and General Manager of the Nepean Raiders where he won 2 league championships, was named CJHL Coach of the Year and Team Executive of the Year, First Team All Star Coach twice, as well as Second All Star Team General Manager.
Owen Sound Attack General Manager Michael Futa said "We are very proud of Chris and his latest achievement. It is very rewarding when anyone on your staff is recognized for their accomplishments and gets the opportunity to further their career."
