
Rangers Acquire Bortuzzo From Spitfires

Kitchener, ON: Rangers Head Coach/General Manager Peter DeBoer announced this morning that the team has acquired defenseman Robert Bortuzzo from the Windsor Spitfires.
In acquiring the 6' 2" Bortuzzo the Rangers send their 2nd round pick in the 2007 OHL Priority Selection to the Spitfires.
Last season as a member of the Fort William North Stars (SIJHL) Bortuzzo played in 40 games picking up 22 points to go along with 135 PIM's. In the post season he notched 8 points (3G, 5A) in 8 games.
