Thursday, December-15-11

Attack @ Windsor, 7:05pm: The Attack make their first trip to the WFCU Centre since game 4 of the Western Conference Finals last spring. The "rebuilding" Spitfires were supposed to trail off in the Western Conference after trading goaltender Jack Campbell and forward Tom Kuhnhackl, however; the Spits have remained in the thick of things in the Conference due in part to a four game winning streak heading into tonight's contest. Kerby Rychel, the son of Spitfires GM Warren Rychel is having an impressive campaign, having notched 20 goals and 17 assists in 35 games as a 17 year old.

Look Out For: Aside from Rychel and top scorer Khokhlachev, the Spits do not have any standout superstars, but are more or less comprised of lunch pail, hard working players that the Windsor coaching staff always seem to get the most out of. Having said that, look out for defenseman Adrian Robertson. The former Peterborough Pete has 9 goals and 20 assists in 35 games to go along with a +10 rating.

Last 10 Games: Windsor (6-2-1-0) 5th in Western Conference. Owen Sound (5-3-1-1) 7th in Western Conference.

Thursday's game can be heard live on Grey Motors Bear Radio with Fred Wallace on 560 CFOS or seen live on Rogers TV local channel 53.
