Owen Sound Attack News Release
The Owen Sound Attack have taken four out of a possible six points in their past three games at home and will look to make it eight of ten this weekend when Connor McDavid and the Erie Otters visit for back to back games.
The Attack dropped a thrilling 4-3 shootout decision to the London Knights on Wednesday night, but did earn a valuable point. The Attack sits two points up on the Rangers for 3rd place in the Western Conference while each team has five games remaining.
Daniel Catenacci, Gemel Smith and Holden Cook have faired very well against the Otters this season with Catenacci and Smith netting eight points and Cook potting four goals in four games.
Artur Gavrus seems to have found his stride, tallying four points in his last two games.
Friday and Saturday, March 8th and 9th - Erie @ Owen Sound: The Attack had no trouble with the Otters the last time they squared off in Owen Sound, however; they did go down to the Otters on January 9th in Erie. The Otters will not make the playoffs for the 2nd straight season and will once again pick near the top of the OHL Priority Selection. The Otters are 2-8 in their past ten games, but did win their last game, an overtime victory over the Spitfires.
Look Out For - Connor Brown has torched the Attack for six goals in four games this season. The Leafs prospect leads the Otters with 66 points so far this season.
Standing room tickets for Friday and Saturday are available at the Attack Box Office.
Game time on Friday and Saturday is 7:30pm.
