Atom-Jet Group Community Heroes Program Begins
October 14, 2015 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Brandon Wheat Kings News Release
Brandon, MB. -- Whether it's inside the work place, on the rink or at the local animal shelter, Atom-Jet Group and its employees share in the belief of team and community involvement.
It is because of this shared belief that Atom-Jet Group partnered with the Brandon Wheat Kings to celebrate and raise awareness for the countless athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers and parents that make our sports community possible.
Each month during the Wheat Kings regular season an individual is chosen to be the Atom-Jet Community Hero. This award is presented to individuals who have demonstrated significant achievements, performances and contributions to amateur teams and athletes in the Westman Region
"Atom-Jet Group has been in business in Brandon for over 50 years, proudly serving our clients in the Westman and across Western Canada," says Terry Dorratt, Atom-Jet Group Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "Our employees take pride in the quality of their work and involvement within the community. That is why the Atom-Jet Community Hero award was developed...to recognize individuals that take pride serving the community, providing quality involvement in areas from charity, sports and volunteering their time and expertise."
If you know an outstanding role model who inspires other local individuals to higher achievements at the recreational or competitive level, be sure to nominate them by clicking on the Atom-Jet Group Community Hero page on the Wheat Kings' official website.
The first recipient to be announced in early November.
