
Atlanta United Announce Year-End Roster Moves

ATLANTA - MLS Cup Champions Atlanta United today announced its year-end roster moves ahead of the 2019 MLS season.
The club exercised contract options on goalkeeper Alec Kann; defenders Mikey Ambrose and Greg Garza; midfielders Julian Gressel, Jeff Larentowicz and Darlington Nagbe; and forward Romario Williams. The club also re-signed defender Jon Gallagher.
Meanwhile, the club already has existing contracts with 19 players for next season and beyond including goalkeeper Brad Guzan; defenders George Bello, Franco Escobar, Leandro Gonzalez Pirez, Jose Hernandez and Miles Robinson; midfielders Miguel Almirón, Ezequiel Barco, Andrew Carleton, Chris Goslin, Kevin Kratz, Chris McCann and Eric Remedi; forwards Lagos Kunga, Josef Martinez, Patrick Okonkwo, Brandon Vazquez, Tito Villalba and Gordon Wild.
The club declined contract options on goalkeeper Mitch Hildebrandt, defender Sal Zizzo and midfielders Oliver Shannon and Andrew Wheeler-Omiunu. The club also declined a contract option with defender Michael Parkhurst; however, it has already begun new contract negotiations.
