(ASHEVILLE, N.C.) A three-run homer by Derek Jones in the third inning gave Asheville a 4-1 lead, and the Tourists went on to a 6-1 victory over the Lexington Legends Saturday night. The Tourists have won the first three games of the series.

The Legends, who have scored first in all three games, took a 1-0 lead in the second inning when Michael Antonio doubled and scored on a two-out single by Jin-Ho Shin.

With two outs and no one on base in the bottom of the third, back-to-back doubles by Rosell Herrera and Tom Murphy produced the game -tying run. Francisco Sosa singled, sending Murphy to third, and Jones followed with his ninth home run of the season.

Asheville generated another two-out rally in the fourth. Singles by Matt Wessinger and Juan Ciriaco, a double steal, and a single by Herrera gave the Tourists a 5-1 lead.

Asheville added its final run in the fifth on a walk to Sosa and a double by Matt Argyropoulos.

Asheville starter Ryan Arrowood ( 4-0) got the win. He worked six innings and allowed six hits and one run.

Legends starter Daniel Stumpf (4-5), who went four and two-thirds innings, was the losing pitcher.

The final game of the series will be played Sunday at 2:05 p.m., and will close out the first half of the season. The Legends will have three days off for the All-Star break, and will open second-half play Thursday night at Whitaker Bank Ballpark against Savannah, the first-half Southern Division champion. Game time Thursday is 7:05 p.m.

Mondesi an All-Star: The Legends learned Saturday afternoon that shortstop Raul Mondesi has been added to the Southern Division team for the South Atlantic League All-Star game, which will be played Tuesday in Lakewood, New Jersey.

Mills update: Legends right-hander Alec Mills, also an All-Star selection, will be out for an extended period due to an elbow injury. He will travel to Lakewood to take part in All-Star events, but will not pitch. Mills was in Kansas City over the weekend for an evaluation of the injury. Mills started for the Legends June 12 against Rome, but had to leave the game in the fifth inning.
