Asheville gets past Lexington

Peter Tago went seven innings while scattering four hits and giving up two runs as Asheville downed Lexington 3-2 in the right hander's professional debut Friday night at McCormick Field.

The 18-year old walked only one, while striking out five batters.

The same two teams will meet on Saturday at McCormick Field in a 6:05 p.m. start.

The Tourists will host a free clinic for kids on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m.-noon. The annual Meet the Tourists Luncheon, catered by Texas Roadhouse, will follow at noon. Tickets for the luncheon are just $5 with the proceeds going to the Asheville Tourists Children's Fund.
