Arizona (26-14-5) heads into the week with a two-point cushion over second place clubs the New Mexico Scorpions and Odessa Jackalopes.
Sundogs Storylines:
- Arizona forward Alex Leavitt leads the CHL in scoring with 77 points (26g/51a)...The Phoenix Coyotes prospect owns a five-game scoring streak, having tallied 8 points (1g/7a) over that time...Leavitt has failed to tally a point in just five games this season.
- Rookie forward Mark Kolanos is tied for the lead among rookie scorers with 45 points (24g/21a).
- Arizona still maintains the league's top powerplay at 23.84% and has ultimately done so the entire season...The Sundogs have also tallied the most PP goals at 67.
- The Sundogs have tallied 193 goals for this season, 18 more than the next closest club (Colorado - 175).
- Arizona returns to Tim's Toyota Center for six-straight games beginning this Wednesday against the Amarillo Gorillas.
- The Sundogs sit just six points back of Southern Conference leader Laredo, but has three games in hand.
