Hounds Announce New Giveaways For This Weekend

YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO - Youngstown SteelHounds General Manager Joe Gregory announced two additional giveaways for fans who visit the Chevrolet Centre this weekend. Saturday night, February 16th the first 1,500 fans will receive SteelHounds "Rally Towels" when the Hounds take on the Oklahoma City Blazers at 7:05. Sunday afternoon all fans will receive Rick Nash wristbands when the Hounds and Blazers face-off at 4:05.

"We have a tremendous promotional schedule this season," said Gregory. "We witnessed how exciting the atmosphere was for the last time we gave away rally towels and want to keep the electricity flowing. Also, the Blue Jackets have worked with us to provide our fans with Rick Nash Character wristbands. We are always thrilled to strengthen our affiliation with the Blue Jackets. This is just another great opportunity to do so."

The Hounds will host the Blazers this Friday at 7:05 with $1.00 beers available for fans 21 years and older. The Hounds annual "My Big Fat Youngstown Wedding On Ice" is scheduled for Saturday night, as couples will be married and renew their vows on the Chevrolet Centre ice. Both nights the Hounds will wear special pink jerseys for cancer awareness with the specialty jerseys being auctioned off after Saturday night's contest. Sunday afternoon fans can wear their Rick Nash wristbands on the ice as they are invited to skate with the Hounds after the game.
