Toronto Argonauts News Release

Mississauga - After impressing the coaching staff during workouts in Toronto last week, the Toronto Argonauts Football Club have added depth at the receiver position by signing contracts with former NFL'ers Eugene Baker and Todd Devoe.

Baker is a speedy receiver who most recently spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers of the NFL. Before joining the Steelers in training camp last season, he played with the Carolina Panthers and Berlin Thunder of NFL Europe. The Kent State product had a remarkable college career, becoming the Golden Flash's all-time leading receiver with 229 catches for 3,313 yards and 35 touchdowns.

Devoe wasted no time showcasing his skills at the pro level when he turned his first-ever reception into a 44-yard touchdown as a member of the NFL's Denver Broncos. Before playing with the Broncos, Devoe spent time with the Cologne Centurions of NFL Europe and led the team in touchdowns. The Central Missouri State graduate also spent time with the Miami Dolphins, Tennessee Titans and Baltimore Ravens of the NFL.
