April 22 Aeros/Phillies Game Suspended Due to Rain

The April 22nd Akron Aeros / Reading Phillies game has been suspended due to inclement weather. The game will be completed Saturday, April 23 beginning at 1:05pm and picked up at the point of suspension - bottom of the 3rd inning with one out, Chun Chen at the plate with runners on first and second, Reading leading Akron, 3-0.

After the completion of this game, the Aeros and R-Phils will play a second seven-inning game, thirty minutes after the completion of the first game.

Fans may exchange their Friday, April 22 tickets for any future home game in 2011, including Saturday's doubleheader. Games subject to availability. Fans must redeem their tickets in person at the Canal Park Box Office.

In addition to Aeros fans having the opportunity to see two Aeros games on Saturday, youngsters 12 & under who bring an Easter basket to the game will receive a FREE ticket. Youngsters 12 & under will also have the opportunity to participate in a pre-game on-field egg hunt beginning at 12:15pm, courtesy of KT Waterproofing.
