Igawa Back to Trenton, Millwood to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre

(HARRISBURG, PA) - The Trenton Thunder, Double-A Affiliate of the New York Yankees, announce that LHP Kei Igawa has been transferred to Trenton from Triple A Scranton/ Wilkes-Barre. In a corresponding move, RHP Kevin Millwood has been promoted to Triple A Scranton/ Wilkes-Barre.

In two appearances for Trenton this season, Igawa has thrown six scoreless innings and has only surrendered three hits. The lefty, who is from Ibaraki, Japan, started for the Scranton/ Wilkes-Barre Yankees Thursday night, hurling four scoreless innings.

Millwood will make the move to Scranton/ Wilkes-Barre after one start in Trenton where he threw seven shutout innings. In that start, the former Major Leaguer took a no-hitter into the sixth inning and picked-up the win.
