HOUSTON, Texas - The American Hockey League's Houston Aeros, in conjunction with Apache Corporation, are pleased to announce "Apache Corporation Teacher Appreciation Night," set for 7:35 p.m. Saturday, March 31, when the Aeros take on the Worcester Sharks at Toyota Center.

Apache Corporation, through its support of the national organization Fund for Teachers (www.fundforteachers.org), works to raise awareness of the challenges teachers face and the need of broader society to provide educators with meaningful opportunities for professional respect and greater support. Thanks to the corporation's generosity, Fund for Teachers' fellows and other teachers and administrators from the Houston area will be entitled to complimentary tickets. Each will be allowed to purchase up to five additional tickets for family members for only $2 each. All teachers will be asked to list their school and district on the order form.

Apache employees also are invited to purchase discounted, subsidized tickets to the game. Representatives from Apache, Fund for Teachers, and various school district administrations will be saluted in a pre-game ceremony at center ice. An Apache representative will be the featured commentator on the Aeros' radio broadcast that evening.

Space is limited for Teacher Appreciation Night, so please call Tom Stallings at 713-361-7937 now to reserve tickets!
