Anthony Stefano Traded to Windsor Spitfires

(Peterborough, ON)- Peterborough Petes General Manager Michael Oke announced today that centre Anthony Stefano has been traded to the Windsor Spitfires.

Along with Stefano, the Spitfires will receive Oshawa's second round pick in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection. In return, the Petes will receive Windsor's second round pick and Kingston's fourth round pick in the 2016 Priority Selection, Windsor's eighth round pick in 2018, and Windsor's second round pick in 2020.

Stefano, originally selected in the fifth round, 86th overall in the 2012 OHL Priority Selection, has registered 19 goals, 33 assists, 52 points and 30 penalty minutes along with a plus/minus rating of 1 in 97 total games played. The Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario native added an assist and six penalty minutes in eleven playoff games following the 2013/14 season.
