Anthony Luciani Named CCM ECHL Player of the Month

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that forward Anthony Luciani has been named the CCM ECHL Player of the Month.

Luciani amassed 19 points (10g, 9a) in 11 games during the month of January. A native of Maple, Ontario, Luciani scored at least one goal in seven games, including a hat trick in a 5-1 win against Gwinnett on Jan. 15 and two goals in a 5-4 loss to Elmira on Jan. 16. Luciani tallied at least one point in nine of the 11 games in January, and had one four-point game and three points on three other occasions. A Florida Panthers prospect, Luciani leads the Cyclones this season with 18 goals, which is tied for fourth in the ECHL and 40 points, which ranks seventh in the league.

Luciani has 105 points (48g, 57a) in 118 career games with Cincinnati, and was named ECHL Rookie of the Month in December 2011. He has appeared in 10 career American Hockey League games with San Antonio, recording four points (3g, 1a).
