COLUMBIA, SC - Columbia scored six runs in the sixth, taking the lead on a Quinn Brodey home run, to storm back and top the BlueClaws 10-7 on Sunday afternoon at Spirit Communications Park.

The six-run sixth inning came one day after the Fireflies scored six runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to come back and beat the BlueClaws 9-7 on Saturday night. Columbia (17-13) has now won five straight while the BlueClaws (15-15), who fell to 1-5 on their current road trip, dropped a fourth straight game for the first time this season.

Columbia's six-run sixth inning off Randy Alcantara was started with a home run from Edgardo Farmin to tie the game at five. The Fireflies added three more runs, with all six in the inning charged to Alcantara (0-1).

Brodey hit the game-winning home run on Saturday night in the Fireflies' comeback win as well.

Lakewood tried to get back in the game, getting an RBI single from Gregori Rivero in the seventh and one from Jake Scheiner in the eighth, but went down quitely off Trey Cobb in the ninth to finish the game. Cobb earned his fourth save of the year.

Scheiner finished 3-4 with a walk, extending his hitting streak to seven in the loss.

The BlueClaws opened the scoring in the first inning when Daniel Brito tripled home Jake Scheiner for the first run and Gregori Rivero's SAC fly brought in Brito.

After Columbia tied it in the bottom of the first, Dalton Guthrie's two-run home run in the second put the BlueClaws ahead 4-2. It was Guthrie's first home run of the year and his second as a professional.

Columbia came back to tie the game in the fifth off David Parkinson. Jeremy Vasquez, who extended his on-base streak to 29 games, homered and Raphael Gladu added an RBI single.

Parkinson gave up four runs on eight hits and six walks over 4.2 innings but did not factor in the decision.
