MCALLEN, TEXAS - The NBA Development League Rio Grande Valley Vipers announced today that guard Antonio Anderson (6-6, 215, Memphis) is the sixth GATORADE Call-Up in franchise history and the fourth this season, tying the Vipers for the league-lead, after signing a 10-day contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Anderson is expected to be in uniform for tomorrow night's 7:00 p.m. home game against the Phoenix Suns at Ford Center. The Thunder (33-21) are in fifth place in the Western Conference and are on a nine-game winning streak.

A Western Conference All-Star selection, Anderson is averaging 15.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 5.9 assists (seventh in the NBA Development League) and 1.3 steals per game. He is shooting 47.7% from the field. Anderson is the only Viper to play in each of the first 32 games, starting all of them and averaging 39.6 minutes per game, seventh in the league.

"We are very happy for Antonio. He deserves this chance as he has been a major part of our success this season," Vipers head coach Chris Finch said.

Anderson becomes the eighth Vipers alumnus in the NBA at this point, joining Garrett Temple (Houston Rockets), Jawad Williams (Cleveland Cavaliers), C.J. Watson (Golden State Warriors), Aaron Brooks (Rockets), Shannon Brown (Los Angeles Lakers), Joey Dorsey (Sacramento Kings) and Steve Novak (Los Angeles Clippers).
