SPURS RECALL MALIK HAIRSTON

The San Antonio Spurs announced that they have recalled guard Malik Hairston from the Austin Toros, the NBA Development League team owned and operated by the Spurs. Hairston, who was assigned to Austin on 1/14, has appeared in 15 games for the Toros and averaged 29.1 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 40.8 minutes. Hairston has appeared in 21 games for the Spurs this season and averaged 0.5 points in 3.5 minutes.

WOLVES RECALL NATHAN JAWAI FROM SIOUX FALLS SKYFORCE

The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced the club has recalled second-year forward Nathan Jawai from the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA Development League. Jawai appeared in two games for the Skyforce, averaging 6.0 points and 3.0 rebounds in 25.0 minutes per game. Jawai has appeared in 36 games for the Wolves this season, averaging 3.3 points and 2.7 rebounds in 10.8 minutes per game.

Austin got a herculean effort out of league-leading rebounder Dwayne Jones with a 26-point, 26-rebound double-double, adding two blocks for good measure. Curtis Jerrells also filled the boxscore with 22 points, 10 assists, six rebounds and three steals Jeremy Wise led Bakersfield with 24 points, 11 assists and two blocks while guard Patrick Mutombo had his best game in a Jam uniform, scoring 21 points to go with two steals. Brian Butch notched another double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Will Conroy reclaimed the all-time NBA Development League lead in points, by scoring 21 to up his career-total to 3,005 points. Conroy recorded a double with 14 assists while adding six rebound and three steals. Houston assignee Jermaine Taylor finished with 22 points Maurice Ager led the Red Claws in scoring with 21 points while Russell Robinson added 20 points, five rebounds and five assists.

Carlos Powell and Shane Edwards carried Albuquerque with 25 and 21 points respectively. Antoine Agudio scored 14 and Keith McLeod added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the Thunderbirds. Kurt Looby grabbed 15 rebounds to go along with nine points and four blocks for Albuquerque. The Los Angeles D-Fenders had six players in double-figures, including Diamon Simpson with a team high 17 points and 11 rebounds while Dar Tucker added 16 for Los Angeles.

Dan Dickau led Fort Wayne with 22 points to go with seven assists. Ron Howard followed with 19. Erie's Mike Gansey finished the game with a team-high 2, adding 12 points to record a double-double.

ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS: A look at NBA D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games:

20 players with NBA D-League experience competed in nine NBA games last night, six as starters.

Starting for Sacramento, Donte Greene finished with 16 points and five rebounds.

As a starter for Houston, Aaron Brooks scored 15 points and dished eight assists.

CJ Watson tallied 15 points and added six assists for Golden State as the Warriors defeated the Hawks 108-104
