Anaheim Reassigns Defenseman Eric Regan to Syracuse

Syracuse, NY (January 20, 2011) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Anaheim Ducks have reassigned defenseman Eric Regan from Elmira (ECHL) to Syracuse. In addition, the Crunch have assigned left wing Eric Lampe to Elmira.

Regan, 22, has appeared in 35 games with Elmira this season and ranks first among all ECHL defensemen and third on the Jackals in scoring with 25 points (7g, 18a) to go along with 33 penalty minutes. A native of Whitby, Ontario, Regan has skated in 64 combined AHL games with Iowa and San Antonio since 2008-09, recording eight points (1g, 7a) and 42 penalty minutes.

Lampe, 24, has appeared in seven games with the Crunch this season, tallying three points (2g, 1a) and six penalty minutes. In addition, he has skated in 19 games with Elmira this year, collecting 16 points (8g, 8a) and two penalty minutes. A native of Madison, Wisconsin, Lampe appeared in 150 games over four seasons with Quinnipiac (ECAC) from 2006-10, recording 102 points (47g, 55a) and 278 penalty minutes. He was signed by the Crunch to an American Hockey League contract on August 9, 2010.

The Crunch begin a five-game home stand on Friday, January 21 vs. Rochester at 7:30 p.m. at The Oncenter War Memorial Arena.
