Wild Reassigns Khudobin to Aeros, Aeros Send Tordjman to Bakersfield

HOUSTON --- Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned goaltender Anton Khudobin to the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL). The Aeros also loaned goaltender Josh Todjman to Bakersfield.

Khudobin, 24 (5/7/86), appeared in four games with Minnesota after being recalled Jan. 8 and posted a 2-1-0 record with a 1.59 goals-against average (GAA), a .942 save percentage (SV%) and one shutout. In three starts he stopped 77-of-81 shots faced for a 1.34 GAA and a .951 SV%. The 5-foot-11, 199-pound native of Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan, made 32 saves in a 4-0 win vs. Vancouver on Jan. 16 for his first career NHL shutout. Khudobin is now 4-1-0 with a 1.40 GAA and a .955 SV% in six career NHL contests. He is 12-9-1 with a 2.58 GAA, a .911 SV% and one shutout in 24 games with Houston this season. Khudobin participated in the AHL All-Star Game in 2010.

Tordjman, 26 (1/11/85), is 2-0-0 in three appearances with the Aeros this season. His totals include a 1.92 GAA and .924 SV% in wins at CHI on Jan. 14 (4-3) and vs. GR on Jan. 15 (2-1). The 6-foot-1, 155-pound Montreal native has surrendered two or fewer goals in six of his last eight starts for Bakersfield. He won back-to-back ECHL Goalie of the Week awards with the Condors and was the Kern Trophies Condor of the Month for December. He ranked in the top five in the ECHL in wins (13), saves (689), save percentage (.921), and minutes played (1376) at the time of his recall to Houston.
