Amerks Sign Defenseman Ryan Grimshaw to ATO

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans announced today that the team has signed defenseman Ryan Grimshaw to an Amateur Tryout.
A native of Rochester, NY, the 22-year-old Grimshaw recently completed a four-year collegiate career at Harvard while serving as team captain this season. He finished his senior year with eight assists and 25 penalty minutes in 34 games. In 121 career games at Harvard, Grimshaw registered 26 points (4+22) and was a two-time ECAC Hockey All-Academic selection. Prior to playing at Harvard, Grimshaw spent two seasons with the U.S. National Team Development Program.
