
Americans Trade Nick Avakyan to Portland

Kennewick, WA - Tri-City Americans general manager Bob Tory announced today the team has traded 2004-born goaltender Nick Avakyan to the Portland Winterhawks for a seventh-round pick in the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft.
Avakyan, from Glendale, California, has spent the past three seasons with the Americans. In 56 games he posted a 13-28-4-0 record.
"We would like to thank Nick for his time with our club and wish him nothing but the best moving forward with Portland," said Tory.
The Americans wrap up their three-game weekend with a 4:00 puck drop in Wenatchee today.
