Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans of the Central Hockey League announced today that forward Alex Penner has been released by the team following his suspension by the league.
Alex Penner played in 20 games for the Allen Americans scoring one goal and four points while racking up 88 penalty minutes.
The CHL announced on Thursday that forward Alex Penner was suspended for the remainder of the season and post-season for actions in the Allen Americans game on February 23rd at Fort Worth.
