Brahmas Host Second World Record Night

FORT WORTH, Texas (March 1) - The Fort Worth Brahmas will host three games at the NYTEX Sports Centre next week, including World Record Night for the second year in a row.
The Brahmas host the Arizona Sundogs Friday, March 8 at 7:30pm. Just as it did a year ago, the team will attempt to break several world records with the participation of the fans in attendance. The records in sight this season include the loudest scream by a crowd indoors, most people standing on one foot simultaneously in the same venue, most hot dogs eaten in three minutes, fastest time to eat a 12-inch pizza, ping pong ball spitting, and most people wearing false mustaches simultaneously in the same venue. The crowd will also attempt to break the record for most people wearing paper crowns simultaneously in the same venue, which will be sponsored by Medieval Times.
Last season, the Brahmas fans attempted to break the records for the longest conga line on ice, most simultaneous fist bumps and the longest air hockey marathon.
The Brahmas host the Sundogs again Saturday, March 9 at 7:30pm on Fan Appreciation Night. Throughout the game, various prizes will be given out, such as team-signed memorabilia and apparel, a 25-piece tailgating package from Raising Cane's, concert tickets to Billy Bob's Texas and gift certificates to Macy's, Fort Worth Golf, Lucky Strike Bowling, Five Guys Burgers, Roots Coffee House, the NYTEX Sports Centre and many more local establishments.
Immediately following the game Saturday night, the Brahmas will host a jersey auction for the specialty sweaters worn earlier in the week for Beer League Night.
The team hosts the Wichita Thunder Wednesday, March 6 at 7:00pm for Beer League Night. The Brahmas held fan voting on the team website and at home games to determine which beer league team's jerseys they would wear. The winners of the contest were the Average Joes, receiving 50 percent of the voting (964 votes). The Bandits received 41 percent (776) of the voting, the Wedding Crashers 6 percent (120) and the Blazers 3 percent (52).
