March 27, 2022 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Tri-City Americans News Release

After earning a shutout victory over the Spokane Chiefs last night, the Americans took on the Seattle Thunderbird tonight at the Toyota Center. They were unable to carry last night's momentum into tonight's game and fell 4-1 to the Thunderbirds.

After a scoreless first period Tyson Greenway opened scoring two minutes into the second period. After a scramble in front of the net, Sasha Mutala swept the puck out to Greenway at the right circle where he scored with a wrist shot. It was Greenway's ninth goal of the season

Tri-City's one goal lead held for over ten minutes until Jared Davidson tied the game with a power play goal for Seattle. Conner Roulette followed a minute later with the go-ahead goal.

The Thunderbirds took a 2-1 lead into the final period. Davidson and Roulette each added one more goal in the final period to extend Seattle's lead to a 4-1 final.

Score: 4-1 Seattle
