Americans Complete Deal with Fort Wayne

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, and Globe Life announced today that the club has acquired the rights to goaltender Kyle Hayton from the Fort Wayne Komets, completing the JC Campagna trade.

Kyle Hayton played in one game for the Fort Wayne Komets this season and has a 3.06 goals against average. His only start came in a loss to Rapid City.

The resident of Denver, Colorado will turn 25 on May 12th of 2019. The 6-foot-1 and 175- pound goalie played his college hockey at the University of Wisconsin in the Big 10 and St. Lawrence University of the ECAC. He played 66 games in the USHL with Sioux City over parts of two seasons.

Hayton will join the team for tomorrow night's game in Tulsa at 7:05 pm. The Americans return home for back to back games this weekend against the Wichita Thunder at 7:05 pm. Don't miss the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles this Saturday night on Nickelodeon Night in Allen.
