Wichita 6, Grand Prairie 5

The Wichita Wingnuts walked off on the Grand Prairie AirHogs to take the game 6-5. The Wingnuts opened up the final frame with back-to-back singles from RF David Peralta and C Taylor Freeman. SS Ryan Khoury knocked home the winning run with a sacrifice fly. Grand Prairie took an early lead with three runs in the second inning with the help of a leadoff homerun from DH Andres Rodriguez but the Wingnuts answered with five runs in the bottom of the inning. Rodriguez was 3-for-3 in the game with a pair of RBI and a run. 3B Brian Myrow also had a pair of RBI on a 2-for-4 night for the AirHogs. Peralta led the way for the Wingnuts with a 2-for-3 game and two runs. P Edgar Martinez earned the win by throwing a perfect ninth inning.

St. Paul 6, Newark 3

The St. Paul Saints used a four-run fourth to beat the Newark Bears 6-3 in an interleague contest. Saints 3B Tanner Townsend opened up the top of the second with a walk and 1B Ronnie Borquin doubled him home on the first pitch he saw. Borquin scored as C Benji Johnson reached on an error and Johnson scored on a double from SS Adam Frost. Another double from RF Jose Hernandez scored Frost. The Bear put together a couple of runs in the back end of the game with the help of RF Eric McGee's first homerun of the season but couldn't complete the comeback. St. Paul's Johnson also had his first dinger of the year on the night. P Wes Roemer earned the win with 7.2 innings of work in which he allowed three runs on six hits and seven strikeouts.

Fargo-Moorhead 8, Sioux City 5

After a five-run first the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks lead the whole game en route to a 8-5 win against the Sioux City Explorers. CF Nic Jackson started the rally with a two-run single that scored LF Aharon Eggleston and SS Zach Penprase. Jackson scored on a wild pitch two batters later. 3B Enrique Cruz singled home 1B Marcos Rodriquez and Cruz scored on a sacrifice fly later in the inning to give the RedHawks a 5-0 lead. That inning was all Explorer P Max Whieldon would play but he still earned the loss. Fargo-Moorhead 2B Carolo Cota lead the team with three RBI on a 2-for-4 performance. P Alex Caldera picked up the win with 7.0 innings of three-run ball and struck out seven.

Winnipeg 6, Gary SouthShore 1

The Winnipeg Goldeyes put up all six of their runs in the fifth inning and it was more than enough to top Gary SouthShore 6-1. P Fabian Williamson was given the win for his 6.2 innings one one-run baseball, he scattered four hits and struck out five batters. In the fifth, the Goldeyes sent 11 batters to the plate and had four hits. DH Price Kendall's single with the bases loaded started the scoring. 3B Amos Ramon scored in the next at bat as CF Chris Roberson walked and 1B/LF Jon Weber kept the rally going with an RBI single. Winnipeg finished off the offensive outburst as two runners scored on a wild pitch.

Amarillo 10, Kansas City 7

Amarillo Sox RF Tim Alberts' paved the way for a 10-7 against the Kansas City T-Bones with six RBI. Alberts hit his second and third homeruns on the season on a night where he was a perfect 5-for-5 at the plate. He's now hitting .491 on the season. The game was close through the first four innings before the Sox put up six runs in the fifth and sixth innings combined. For the T-Bones CF Gus Milner had a team-high three hits in five at bats and scored twice. Both DH Brandon Jones and 3B Devin Goodwin had homeruns and two RBI for the T-Bones. The winning pitcher was P Ryan Mitchell, who gave up five runs on seven hits in six innings. P Chase Johnson earned his fourth save of the season.

Lincoln 10, Sioux Falls 5

The Lincoln Saltdogs used a six-run fifth inning to distance themselves from the Sioux Falls Pheasants in a 10-5 win. Saltdog DH AJ Miller came up with the big two-double in the fifth inning that scored three runs. He finished the night with a game-high four RBI on a 1-for-3 performance at the plate. Both C Alan Rick and 1B John Alonso had a pair of RBI for Lincoln and Alonso is up to 23 RBI on the season. LF Tommy Collaro continued his hot start with a 3-for-5 night capped off by a solo homerun in the ninth inning. P Justin Edwards earned his first win of the season for his six innings of work in which he allowed three earned runs on six hits and five strikeouts.

Laredo 11, El Paso 10 (12 Innings)

It was a 12 inning thriller in Laredo as the Lemurs walked off on the El Paso Diablos 11-10. The Diablos jumped out to an early lead with a five-run third inning but the Lemurs responded with a five-spot of their own in the seventh. The two teams were tied at 8 after nine innings. The Diablos looked poised to take the game with two runs in the top of the 12th inning but the Lemurs weren't done just yet.1B Stephen Pearson got things going for the Lemurs with a single that scored 3B Yunesky Sanchez. DH Ernie Banks Jr. tied up the game with a single of his own in the next at bat that scored LF John Allen. 2B Anthony Scelfo provided the walk-off hit with a single to center field that scored Pearson. Banks had a team-high three hits in six at bats. For El Paso 2B Maikol Gonzalez had a game high four hits.
