Amarillo Gorillas Make-A-Wish Weekend, Game Tomorrow

Amarillo, TX 11/16/09 - The Amarillo Gorillas and the Make-A-Wish Foundation are partnering this weekend to benefit the children in the Amarillo Chapter, the team announced Monday.
The Gorillas will where one of a kind Make-A-Wish jerseys that will be revealed Saturday, November 21st and auctioned off Sunday, November 22nd. Proceeds will go toward the Make-A-Wish Foundation and fans may begin their bidding Saturday at the customer service table. The live auction will proceed following Sunday's action.
"The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a special organization we enjoy partnering with," commented Gorillas Owner/President Randy Sanders. "This will be a unique weekend where I hope the Panhandle community will support the Make-A-Wish children."
Saturday, November 21st is $1 Hot Dogs night when Amarillo takes on Arizona at 7pm. Sunday, November 22nd features the Gorillas annual "Turkey Bowl Shootout" starting at 4pm in the Amarillo Civic Center. Tickets for Sunday's game are as low as $12! Call 806-242-PUCK.
Tomorrow night's game at the Odessa Jackalopes can be heard on 1440 AM ESPN Radio or fans can watch and listen on CHL-TV beginning at 6:55pm CST.
