Almost Time: MLS Regular Season Schedule to Be Released Thursday

Major League Soccer will release the complete 2017 regular season schedule on Thursday, once again consisting of 34 matches per club. Insert happy dance GIF here.

Here's what we know so far:

Each team will face opponents from their own conference either twice or three times, and the opponents from the other conference just once. We also know that Whitecaps FC will open their regular season campaign against Philadelphia Union on March 5 at BC Place (and that, of course, will come after Vancouver's two-leg CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal series vs. New York Red Bulls on February 22 and March 2).

What other fixtures will you be looking out for on Thursday?

Fans can secure their seats to all Vancouver's home matches by purchasing Season Tickets and becoming a 'Caps Club Member. Other options include a Half-Season Pack, 5-Pack, and Major Match Pack featuring tickets to Vancouver's Champions League opener, MLS opener, and Canadian Championship semifinal. Single match tickets will go on sale in February.
