ALLEN AMERICANS WEEKLY UPDATE
Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans are 2-2 on their longest road trip of the season. The Americans have wins over Tulsa and Utah on the early part of the trip, and back to back losses to the Idaho Steelheads last weekend. Allen will finish up the six-game swing in Tulsa tonight and in Missouri tomorrow.

Wednesday, November 23rd @ Utah Grizzlies - 3-2 OT Win
West Valley City, Utah - Harrison Ruopp scored his first goal of the season in overtime to lift the Allen Americans to a 3-2 victory of the Utah Grizzlies. Allen is 3-0 at the Maverik Center this season.
Friday, November 25th @ Idaho Steelheads 3-2 Loss
Boise, Idaho - The Americans put on great pressure late in the third period, but were unable to tie the score as the Idaho Steelheads defeated the Americans 3-2 at Century Link Arena. Greger Hanson scored his team-leading 8th goal of the season for Allen, while San Jose prospect, Jason Fram, added his first of his pro career.
Saturday, November 26th @ Idaho Steelheads 5-2 Loss
Boise, Idaho - Greger Hanson scored his 100th career goal, and ninth of the season, however it was not enough as the Americans fell to the Idaho Steelheads 5-2 at Century Link Arena. The loss was the second in a row for Allen.

About the Americans
The Allen Americans play in the ECHL, the premiere AA hockey league in North America. The Americans were established in 2009 and have won four AA championships in seven full seasons of minor pro hockey. In those seven seasons Allen has qualified for the playoffs every year with five trips to the league finals in that time. Allen is in its third season in the ECHL after playing five years in the now defunct Central Hockey League.
