Albany Devils 2014-15 Schedule Released

Albany Devils News Release
ALBANY, NY -- The American Hockey League has announced the 2014-15 Albany Devils schedule. The team will open the doors to Times Union Center on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 5:05 pm against Northeast Division rival, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. The Devils begin the season at the Adirondack Flames on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 7:00 pm.
Twenty-eight of the Devils home games will be played during the weekend: seven Friday fixtures, 13 Saturday outings and eight Sunday matches. Start times at Times Union Center include 7:00 pm puck drops for all midweek home games and Friday contests. Besides the Home Opener and a 2:00 pm start against Worcester on Jan. 24, all Saturday games will start at 5:00 pm. The team's Sunday outings will all begin at 3:00 pm.
Albany will host Bridgeport at Prudential Center -- the home of the New Jersey Devils -- on Wednesday, Jan. 21 at 7:30 pm. The Devils will also host Lehigh Valley for a pair of games at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall on Friday, Nov. 28 at 7:00 pm and Sunday, Dec. 14. at 3:00 pm
The Devils longest homestand comes in a six-game set at Times Union Center between Mar. 13-22. The team will participate in a season-long five game road trip between Feb. 20-28.
Under the league's scheduling matrix, Albany will face Northeast Division opponents Bridgeport and Hartford 10 times each and Springfield and Syracuse eight times each.
